One of the funniest Broadway shows I have ever seen is Avenue Q The Musical. You can find the lyrics to all the music which is really the screenplay here.

The transit strike has been really annoying to the rich New Yorkers and one of the most ignorant, inconsiderate things that one could do to all the poor hardworking people of New York City during the Holiday season. Many business owners rely on this season to bring in the bulk of their revenues for the year; luckily we don't, since we are busy almost everyday of the year. We have been kind of slow due to the strike, so some of us decided to go see Avenue Q. Luckily they had tickets available at the last minute. It was great, go see it.
