The last few years have been difficult confusing years for me. My Brother and Mom passed away, so i have been spending time with my dad to teach him how to exercise and eat healthier. He goes to the gym everyday now but he doesn't understand my vegetarian diet. He asks "How do i stay strong and alive without eating meat?" It took many years to figure out, as there is so much misinformation. I learned what I know from traveling and then reading "The Gerson Therapy" the most important book, some of Paul Bragg's books and recently the Longevity Diet by Valter Longo and Food Pharmacy.
After I read the Gerson Therapy I no longer get sick, I know how to take care of myself now.
My diet is flexible which helps avoid the stress of trying to be perfect.
I mainly try to avoid salt, processed food, chemicals.
Never use a microwave
In the morning I eat an Orange, I make a smoothie with Banana, Acai, Kale, Ginger, distilled water and occasionally I add silica or diatomaceous earth with apple cider vinegar, Turmeric, pepper, Lemon, Chia seeds, Cacao nibs, Terramin minerals. ( depends on what i am making, will post smoothie formulas in near future)
Early Lunch I have been eating is Red Onions, Mushrooms, Spinach and 2 scrambled Eggs cooked with Olive oil on one slice of Sourdough toast or no toast.
Late Lunch smoothie Banana, Acai, Spinach, Beets, oats, distilled water and sometime I add avocado
Dinner Salad Various Lettuces, Cabbage, Carrots, Radishes, Avocado, Red Onion, Flax and Olive oil, Lemon Juice, Apple Cider Vinegar
I occasionally take some Liposomal Vitamins
I am recently purchased whole grain Sorghum to try
I eat other vegetables and fruits too. The type of veggies you can eat raw or slightly steamed.
Sometimes i eat macadamia nuts and walnuts.
Cooking destroys the enzymes in food. The body needs those enzymes to help digest food.
As I said earlier my diet is flexible. No Stress. So if I am at a great restaurant or traveling in Europe or Iceland I may taste some Salmon or Chicken. I usually cook at home so not often.
